LawMatic DateCalc

LawMatic DateCalc is built for lawyers and anyone who needs dependable deadlines: calendar and business days, weekends and holiday shifts, the last day for procedural acts, plus a personal dated to-do list.

1. Count between two dates

  • Calendar and business days with holidays and configurable exception days.
  • Optional hours and minutes, full-hour splits, and business hours inside a defined workday window.
  • Optional day list and timeline view.

2. “Plus N” from a start date

Add years, half-years, quarters, months, half-months (15 days), weeks, or days — including business-day modes where applicable.

3. Procedural helpers

Legal event types with the last day for an action, elapsed and remaining business/calendar days, with clear visuals when a deadline has passed.

4. “Current” list

  • Entries with date, title, colour, icon, and task checklists.
  • Grouped by horizon (today, soon, later).
  • Local storage; push calculator results straight into the list.

5. Settings

Control detail level for periods, time fields, timelines, and calendar exceptions (moved workdays/holidays).

Platforms

  • iPhone / iPad — full app: Current, DateCalc, Settings.
  • Mac — same engine with a sidebar: calculator and entries side by side.
  • Apple Watch — compact day counts between two dates (including business days and weekends).

Engineering

Math uses the dedicated DateCalc library for calendars and business-day rules — structured calculation logic rather than a spreadsheet shortcut.
